Ambassador Cruise Line has announced that its Irish Mini Break cruise onboard the Ambition will feature a theatrical production called “Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners.”

The production telling the story of Ireland’s band The Dubliners will be available to guests on this three-night themed sailing from Portsmouth to Belfast via Dun Loaghaire (for Dublin) on April 22, 2026.

Set in the O’Donoghue’s Pub, where The Dubliners began their journey in 1962, the show tells the story of the Irish folk band’s 50-year-long career through songs, storytelling and screen.

A cast of Irish musicians is set to perform songs such as Whisky in the Jar and Rocky Road to Dublin, bringing an authentic Irish spirit to this adult-focused sailing.

Furthermore, a special Irish-inspired St. Patrick’s Day Dinner will also be hosted onboard.

Guests will be able to try Irish-inspired specialties including Seared Fillet of Wild Irish Salmon with Dill Mousseline Sauce, Vegetable Stew with Guinness Stout and Chocolate Cake with Baileys.

In addition to this, the short escape also gives guests the opportunity to explore Dublin, from its history to pubs, as well as to taste fresh seafood in Dun Laoghaire.

Saver Fares offering full board accommodation start from £249 per person, while Ambassador Fares start from £423.99 per person, both based on two people sharing an inside cabin.
