Azamara Cruises has reintroduced its Azamara Ashore land programs for destination immersion, the company said in a statement.
The program enables deeper exploration of destinations before and after the cruise.
“At Azamara, every journey is designed to be more than a passing visit, it’s an opportunity to truly connect with the places visited and the people who call them home,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises.
“The relaunch of Azamara Ashore is a direct response to what guests have been asking for, deeper, more immersive experiences that allow them to spend more time in each destination and engage with it in a more natural, unhurried way.”
The company said it is launching 17 new pre- and post-cruise land programs between 2026 and 2028, six of which are brand new for 2026. This amounts to a total of 84 core programs across Africa, Oceania, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Guests can choose from Hotel Stays that are said to simplify arrivals and departures with optional transfers and logistics handled end to end, or immersive City Stays that offer two-night cultural discoveries in every turn port globally.
Additionally, the AzAmazing Journeys offer local cuisine, cultural connection, and immersive experiences for three to six nights.
Available destinations include Victoria Falls & Chobe National Park with Micato Safaris; Machu Picchu, Cusco & Hiram Bingham Train with Coltur Peru; and Wondrous Cappadocia with Tura Turizm.
Furthermore, starting this year, Azamara has also partnered with Ship&Play so that guests can send their bags door-to-door from home or a carrier location directly to their stateroom or hotel.
Delivery is timed before or after the cruise and supported by a dedicated seven-day cruise concierge team.
