The Radiance of the Seas is currently at one of the drydocks of the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport, the Bahamas.
Pausing a series of short cruises departing from Port Everglades, the original Radiance-class vessel arrived at the facility in late January.
While Royal Caribbean did not release information about the project, the 2001-built ship is expected to undergo technical maintenance and class work before resuming service.
Public areas and staterooms are also expected to undergo minor updates, including changes to carpets, upholstery and general upkeep.
Following the drydock, the Radiance of the Seas is set to welcome guests back onboard on February 14, 2026.
The 2,142-guest ship initially offers a six-night voyage to the Western Caribbean before resuming its program of short cruises to the Bahamas.
Sailing from Fort Lauderdale, the 90,000-ton ship visits a wide range of destinations in the region, including Nassau, Freeport and Bimini.
The itineraries also feature regular visits to Royal Caribbean’s private island destination of Perfect Day at CocoCay.
In late April, the Radiance of the Seas repositions to Tampa for a year-round deployment that features visits to the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.
For its first sailing from its new homeport, the vessel offers a longer cruise to Mexico, the Cayman Islands and Honduras.
The eight-night itinerary sails to the ports of Cozumel and Costa Maya, as well as George Town and Roatán.
During the summer, the ship offers a series of four- and five-night cruises to Mexico, visiting Cozumel and Costa Maya.
For the 2026-27 winter season, the Radiance offers seven-night cruises from Tampa to the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.
