Atlas Ocean Voyages has reported a record-breaking start to 2026, delivering what the company says is the strongest January booking performance in its history.

In a press release, the company said this milestone continues its exceptional sales momentum from 2025, with future voyages filling at what Atlas says are unprecedented levels.

According to Atlas, January bookings grew by over 60 percent compared to the same period last year and nearly tripled from January 2024.

“January marked one of the strongest booking months in Atlas Ocean Voyages’ history, setting a powerful tone for 2026,” said James A. Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages.

“We are seeing strong forward booking trends, healthy pricing, and earlier purchase behavior, all of which reinforce the durability and long-term revenue potential of our year-round luxury expedition model.”

The record performance is thought to have been fueled by several strategic initiatives launched at the start of the year.

One of them was the debut of the Enhanced Explorer’s Choice offer, which the company says delivers value-added flexibility and a refined brand identity.

The other is the first Atlas-class yacht, Atlas Adventurer. Scheduled to join the fleet in late 2028, the Adventurer will be the world’s first luxury expedition sailing yacht.

“The response from our travel partners has been incredible,” said Kristian C. Anderson, executive vice president of Global Sales at Atlas Ocean Voyages. “We made a sincere commitment to provide our partners with enhanced access, additional layers of support, and a more robust in-market engagement, and we’re delivering on that promise.”
