There is strength in early bookings for Ambassador Cruise Line, according to CEO Christian Verhounig.

While there will always be demand for last-minute deals, we’ve seen a significant shift towards early bookings, with guests planning well in advance of the departure date when availability is high, particularly for longer voyages,” Verhounig said.

He noted that the company had put its 2026-27 season on sale five months earlier than in previous years due to early demand.

“Those who plan ahead enjoy the best selection of accommodation, preferred dining options and the reassurance of securing their ideal voyage at the earliest opportunity. With more ex-UK sailings than any other cruise line, embarking from a port that’s close to home with a minimum of hassle has never been easier,” added Verhounig.

Adding Caribbean Program

Ambassador sails from UK ports with the Ambition and Ambience, and recently merged operations with CFC, with the Renaissance joining the fleet and offering a winter fly-cruise program in the Caribbean.

“Each itinerary has been carefully curated to celebrate Renaissance’s smaller size and the opportunities it provides to offer the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation and cultural immersion,” Verhounig  continued.

“With a host of exciting winter itineraries through to the end of March before beginning again in October 2026 for a second winter season, Renaissance allows us to reinforce our commitment to offering our guests the very best affordable quality experiences and a greater selection of sailings and destinations than ever before,” Verhounig explained.
