Celestyal is adding two new repositioning voyages ahead of its upcoming season in the Arabian Gulf, the company announced in a press release.

The cruises will sail between the ports of Athens in Greece and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in November 2026.

The Celestyal Journey will sail from Piraeus on November 14, operating a seven-night voyage that sails to Egypt and Jordan.

With prices starting at $789 per person, the itinerary features visits to Port Said, Safaga and Aqaba, as well as a transit of the Suez Canal.

The Celestyal Discovery offers an eight-night cruise departing from Piraeus on November 20, 2026, with prices starting at $909 per person.

The voyage features visits to the same destinations, in addition to Kusadasi, Turkey, where guests will also be able to embark.

Following these departures, both ships will continue their passage from Jeddah to the Arabian Gulf to begin their winter sailing season.

“The strong demand for our Athens to Jeddah sailings last year confirmed the growing appeal of longer, destination-led voyages that connect both iconic and lesser-known ports across these popular regions,” said John Diorio, Celestyal North America’s managing director and vice president of business development.

“Building on that success, these new sailings allow us to offer guests a truly unmissable journey while also providing a seamless transition into our third consecutive Arabian Gulf season,” he added.

As a result of the new schedule, the three-night “Iconic Greek Islands” sailing onboard the Celestyal Discovery that was scheduled to depart on November 20, 2026, will be cancelled.

Celestyal said that all travel partners with impacted travellers have been notified, assured protected commission and provided with updated information and guest rebooking options.

The Celestyal Journey will offer a new version of the “Desert Days” itinerary during its 2026-27 season in the Arabian Gulf. The seven-night cruise sails roundtrip from Doha and calls at Dubai (overnight), Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island and Bahrain.

The Celestyal Discovery will also operate in the region, offering the line’s three-, four- and seven-night “Iconic Arabia” cruises, sailing roundtrip from Abu Dhabi, calling at Doha, Khasab, Dubai, Sir Bani Yas Island and Ras Al Khaimah.
