Disney Cruise Line announced that Tracy Wilson has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager, Disney Cruise Line Operations, following the retirement of longtime leader Sharon Siskie, who has guided the business through one of the most transformative periods in its history, the company said in a statement.

“Tracy is an extraordinary leader whose passion for Disney storytelling and deep operational expertise make her uniquely suited to guide Disney Cruise Line into its next era,” said Joe Schott, president, Disney Signature Experiences. “As our fleet expands and we bring even more magic to families around the world, Tracy’s visionary approach, strategic mindset and genuine care for our cast, crew and guests will continue to elevate the Disney difference at sea.”

With more than 30 years of experience across The Walt Disney Company, Wilson is known for her collaborative leadership style and dedication to creating world-class experiences. In her new role, she will oversee all operational aspects of Disney Cruise Line’s award-winning fleet and private island destinations.

Most recently, Wilson served as Senior Vice President, Finance, Disney Signature Experiences, where she led the strategic planning and negotiations that enabled the construction of five new Disney Cruise Line ships. Her leadership was instrumental in positioning Disney to engage directly in shipyard procurement for the first time – a groundbreaking achievement that paved the way for sustained long-term growth.

Throughout her distinguished Disney career, Wilson has helped shape some of the company’s most iconic brands and experiences. She played a key role in bringing magic to life at Disneyland Resort, the Happiest Place on Earth, and Walt Disney World Resort, the world’s most visited theme park destination, as well as Disneyland Paris. Her global perspective was further enriched through her work with the Disney Consumer Products division.

Wilson also brought her expertise to Walt Disney Studios Global Theatrical Marketing and Distribution, helping lead through the Lucasfilm and Marvel integrations and giving her a front row seat to how Disney stories inspire families and fans everywhere.

Wilson’s extensive experience and strategic leadership will be instrumental as Disney Cruise Line continues its ambitious growth, including the upcoming launch of Disney Adventure, and ongoing plans to expand the fleet to 13 ships by 2031.
