Kai Tak Cruise Terminal has reported multiple milestones as it steps into its thirteenth year of operations in January 2026.
The terminal welcomed seven inaugural calls in 2025.
“One of the highlights from 2025 was when KTCT welcomed three world-class ships from two different cruise lines at its two berths on March 19, 2025. This remarkable day brought over 10,000 passengers and crew members to the beautiful city of Hong Kong,” said Jeff Bent, managing director for Worldwide Cruise Terminals.
The three ships included the Queen Anne, the Queen Elizabeth and the Norwegian Sky.
The Queen Anne arrived the day prior and stayed overnight, while the Queen Elizabeth and the Norwegian Sky made their arrivals on March 19.
The calls by the Queen Anne and the Norwegian Sky marked their inaugural visits to Hong Kong.
Worldwide Cruise Terminals, sponsored and jointly organized with the Cruise Line Industry Association, the Hong Kong Travel Agents Owners Association, and Royal Caribbean, held a full-day training workshop for over 50 new-to-cruise travel agents at the terminal on December 9, 2025.
The workshop included training at the terminal and an onboard tour of the Spectrum of the Seas.
Three new tenants joined the terminal in the second half of 2025.
Two Point Zero Cafe & Bar, a pet-friendly café, opened in July 2025, followed by the Global Chinese Pop Music Association in September 2025.
The Hong Kong International Medical Healthcare Management Centre is set to open next month February 2026.
For 2026, plans are underway for new initiatives, including the addition of an airport check-in and baggage delivery service.
The terminal was recognized as Asia’s Leading Cruise Port in 2025 by the World Travel Awards, for the third year in a row, and presented with over 15 awards and certifications.
