Carnival Cruise Line recently issued a statement to warn guests of potential delays for Carnival Pride’s upcoming departure.

Sailing from Baltimore, the vessel is set to offer a seven-night cruise to the Bahamas starting on Saturday, January 25, 2026.

“This message requires your immediate attention as we work to keep you updated about your cruise,” the company said in its statement to booked guests.

“Carnival Pride’s Captain, Renato Bendinelli, and our Fleet Operations Center have been actively monitoring weather forecasts for Baltimore,” Carnival continued.

“Heavy snow is expected in the region, and this could impact our operational plans for the day,” the company said.

Carnival added that no changes have been made at this time, noting that it will continue to monitor the situation and keep guests informed.

The company also encouraged guests to sign up for its text alert service by texting CCL1 to CRUISE (278473).

The Carnival Pride is currently completing a 14-night cruise to the Southern Caribbean and Central America that departed from Baltimore on January 11, 2026.

As part of Carnival’s Journeys program, the ship sailed to five destinations in the region, including Puerto Limon in Costa Rica and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.

Upon returning to Maryland, the 2,100-guest vessel is scheduled to embark on a seven-night itinerary to the Bahamas.

The cruise is highlighted by Carnival Corporation’s private island destinations and features visits to Celebration Key and Princess Cays, as well as Bimini.

In related news, Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas recently had to change its operational plans due to adverse weather conditions.

Sailing from Galveston, the ship shortened its current cruise to avoid the worst of a major winter storm that is set to impact Southeast Texas on Saturday.

The 2016-built vessel is offering a seven-night cruise to the Western Caribbean that departed from its homeport on January 18, 2026.
