Heritage Expeditions has introduced a new 11-day Kimberley Coast expedition featuring rarely-visited destinations, the company announced.
The Kimberley Adventure Cruise departs July 5, 2027, on a round-trip voyage from Darwin aboard the 140-guest Heritage Adventurer. The voyage is available with savings of 20% on all berths for bookings made by Feb. 27, 2026.
The expedition adds several lesser-known locations to the region’s established highlights, including Osborn and Boongaree Islands and Lucifer’s Labyrinth.
“We are excited to explore some of the lesser-known waters on our new Kimberley Adventure Cruise voyage and introduce a new expedition experience to this incredible part of the world,” said Aaron Russ, the company’s commercial director and expedition leader.
The Kimberley Coast features ancient rock art galleries, unique wildlife and landscapes ranging from towering red cliffs to hidden coves and white sand beaches. The region is known for its indigenous customs and connections to ancient traditions.
Heritage Expeditions also offers a second Kimberley voyage, the 11-day Kimberley Explorer, departing July 15, 2027, from Darwin to Broome. Both voyages are part of the company’s First Wave 2027-28 Season Sale.
The New Zealand-based expedition cruise company operates two ships, Heritage Adventurer and Heritage Explorer, carrying between 18 and 140 guests on voyages ranging from four to 28 days. The company was founded in 1984 by the Russ family in Christchurch, the company said.
