The Norwegian Joy recently repositioned to PortMiami to kick off a series of charter sailings and theme cruises.

After completing a final cruise from Port Canaveral, the Norwegian Cruise Line ship arrived at its new homeport on January 18, 2026.

The 2017-built vessel is now set to offer a series of short cruises to destinations in the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

In addition to regular sailings, the schedule features theme and chartered cruises for a wide range of operators.

Highlights include the “Emo’s Not Dead 2026” cruise, a four-night theme cruise that sails from Miami on Jan. 22, 2026.

Focusing on emo, punk and post-hardcore music, the sold-out sailing features a visit to Costa Maya in Mexico, as well as a special lineup of concerts.

Other chartered sailings include the Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite Cruise 2026, which sails from Miami to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic on Feb. 7, 2026.

According to its organizers, the five-night theme cruise will host a series of musical guests, including The Isley Brothers, Kem, Lucky Daye and Kelly Price.

Upon completing its short season in Miami, the Norwegian Joy is scheduled to return to Port Canaveral on Feb. 13, 2026.

The Breakaway Plus-class vessel will then kick off a series of seven-night cruises to the Eastern Caribbean that extend through mid-April.

Following additional theme and chartered cruises from PortMiami, the vessel is set to reposition to the West Coast in late April.

Starting in May, the Norwegian Joy will offer summer cruises to Alaska and Canada departing from the port of Seattle.

The nine- and ten-night itineraries are highlighted by visits to Skagway, Juneau, Victoria and Icy Strait Point, as well as scenic cruising in Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park.

The 4,000-guest ship will then return to Florida in late October for additional short cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean departing from Miami.
