The Celestyal Cruises fleet met recently in the Arabian Gulf, the company announced in a social media update.
Operating winter seasons in the region, the Celestyal Journey and the Celestyal Discovery crossed paths while cruising.
“A Celestyal first—both of our ships sailing side by side in this part of the world,” the company said in its update.
As part of its first season in the region, the Celestyal Discovery is currently offering the company’s “Iconic Arabia” itineraries.
Sailing from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the three- and four-night cruises feature visits to destinations in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar.
Ports of call being visited by the 2003-built ship include Ras Al Khaimah, Khasab, Doha and Sir Bani Yas.
Returning to the Arabian Gulf for its second winter season, the Celestyal Journey is now offering weeklong cruises.
As part of Celestyal’s “Desert Days” itinerary, the vessel is sailing from Dubai and Doha for voyages to the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar.
Set to be offered through late March, the cruise includes visits to destinations including Sir Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi and Khalifa Bin Salman.
Upon completing their winter seasons in the region, both Celestyal ships are set to return to the Aegean Sea for the summer.
The Celestyal Journey kicks off its deployment in the Greek Islands in mid-April, offering weeklong cruises from Piraeus that also sail to destinations in the Adriatic and Italy.
Starting in late March, the Celestyal Discovery offers short cruises departing from Piraeus to the Greek Islands and Turkey.
The company’s port-intensive itineraries in the region are highlighted by visits to a wide range of destinations, including Patmos, Rhodes, Kusadasi, Santorini and more.
According to published deployment, both vessels are also scheduled to return to the Arabian Gulf for another winter season in 2026-27.
