P&O Cruises has announced that DJ, broadcaster and global dance music pioneer Pete Tong MBE will bring his signature Ibiza sound to the Arvia this September.
Tong will host a 90-minute DJ experience in the Arvia’s SkyDome on Saturday, September 19, while the ship is docked at Botafoc Pier.
The event forms part of the Arvia’s 14-night Western Mediterranean holiday, including a late-night departure from Ibiza, the company said in a press release.
Tong said: “Ibiza has always been my spiritual home; it’s where the sound and culture of dance music truly came alive. To bring that energy aboard the Arvia cruise and connect with people in such a unique setting feels really special.”
Carnival UK and P&O Cruises President Paul Ludlow said: “Tong is a true trailblazer whose influence on dance music is simply unmatched.”
“Welcoming him onboard the Arvia while docked in Ibiza will be an extraordinary moment for us and perfectly reflects the ambition of our entertainment program. We’re committed to bringing guests world-class talent and unforgettable experiences that cannot be found anywhere else,” added Ludlow.
“This collaboration captures what P&O Cruises stands for today: innovative, high-quality entertainment that continues to raise the bar for holidays at sea.”
The Arvia’s 14-night roundtrip Western Mediterranean itinerary departs Southampton on September 13, 2026, calling at La Coruña, Malaga, Alicante, Ibiza, Marseille, Barcelona and Cadiz (Seville).
Prices currently start from £1,129 per person based on two sharing an inside cabin.
