Ambassador Cruise Line has announced the launch of “Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea,” a series of onboard events hosted by Ambassadors Jenny Powell and Kate Thornton.

The activity is set to debut in Portugal and Spain aboard the Ambition departing Portsmouth in April 2026, the company said in a press release.

Powell said: “There’s no better trip than a girl’s trip; good chats, good laughs, good weather and maybe a few good glasses of wine on the top deck.”

Thornton said: “We’re both thrilled to be joined onboard the Ambition’s upcoming sailing to Portugal and Spain by our good friends, McLean and Alexander, who will help us host our first Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea sailing.”

“The concept is about great company, proper conversation and taking time out to enjoy the moment, and we can’t wait to make some unforgettable memories with our fellow guests while onboard,” added Thronton.

“Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea is a natural evolution of our partnership with our Ambassador Ambassadors,” said Gordon Nardini, chief marketing officer at Ambassador Cruise Line.

“Staging this exciting addition to Powell and Thornton’s ongoing program of very special onboard events during the Ambition’s inaugural sailing from Portsmouth reflects our commitment to expanding regional departures and making cruising more accessible for guests in the South of England,” added Nardini.

“Whether it’s listening, sharing stories or simply enjoying being at sea together, our ‘community at sea’ can look forward to enjoying moments and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines an Ambassador experience.”

Designed to celebrate connections, conversations and community, Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea will offer a line-up of female broadcasters and presenters for a series of hosted onboard sessions.

Said to be known for their television, radio and podcast work, Powell and Thornton will be joined for the inaugural event by Andrea McLean, a broadcast journalist, and Lucy Alexander, a familiar face on British television.

The first event will take place from April 17 to 19, 2026, onboard the Ambition.

Themed activities will include:

• A panel discussion
• Cocktail hour, and
• Spontaneous meet and greets.
