Carnival Cruise Line today announced new sailings for the Carnival Radiance during the 2027-28 winter season.

According to a press release, the vessel will continue to sail from its homeport in Long Beach for short cruises to Mexico and California.

The company said that the itineraries feature two of the most popular ports on the West Coast: Ensenada and Catalina Island.

Carnival added that the new cruises give guests “even more opportunities to enjoy quick, convenient getaways from the West Coast.”

“We value our long-standing partnerships in Catalina Island and Ensenada and appreciate the continued collaboration with these communities,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

“We look forward to continuing to bring our guests to these treasured ports of call,” she added.

From May 3, 2027, through April 28, 2028, the Carnival Radiance will offer a series of cruises to Baja Mexico fromLong Beach.

The schedule features three-night sailings calling on Ensenada and four-night sailings featuring visits to Catalina Island and Ensenada.

The Sunshine-class ship will also offer a special four-day sailing with back-to-back visits to Ensenada on Jan. 3, 2028, as well as a five-night Christmas cruise beginning Dec. 23, 2027, with calls in Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico.

Carnival Cruise Line recently finalized a 15-year agreement with the City of Avalon, reinforcing its 25-year partnership with the town.

The company said that the long-term agreement reflects a “shared commitment to sustainable tourism and continued collaboration with the local community.”

In related news, Carnival Corporation recently announced Ensenada Bay Village, a new shoreside development in Ensenada.

According to the company, the destination was inspired by the culture and natural beauty of Baja California and represents an investment of more than $26 million.

The property will enhance the port experience with a mix of adventure, cultural and relaxation offerings, Carnival said.

The company added it expects to have the Ensenada enhancements open to guests from multiple cruise lines by 2028.
