Cunard has announced its new role as Headline Partner for the Olivier Awards 2026, which celebrates theater.
This collaboration coincides with the 50th anniversary of the awards, which will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Royal Albert Hall.
Katie McAlister, president of Cunard, said: “Cunard has long celebrated the very best in art, culture and exceptional entertainment experiences, and we are incredibly proud to be the Headline Partner of the Olivier Awards, the UK’s most prestigious stage honors.”
“This partnership reflects our shared passion for outstanding performance, storytelling and British heritage, both on land and at sea,” added McAlister.
The company said in a press release that, from Olivier Award‑winning productions to celebrated London Theatre at Sea Event Voyages, Cunard offers the magic of the West End and Broadway to guests onboard.
To further celebrate the collaboration, Cunard added that it has created an opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the Olivier Awards onboard the London Theatre at Sea Event Voyage, created in partnership with the Olivier Awards.
Sailing aboard the Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to New York between May 22 and 29, 2026, the sailing features Olivier Award‑winning performers, behind-the-scenes workshops and Cunard Insights talks with leading talent.
Fares currently start at £1,459 per person, based on two sharing a Britannia Balcony stateroom.
In addition, Cunard will offer travel agents and guests opportunities to attend the Olivier Awards ceremony in London on Sunday, April 12, through ticket giveaways and prize draws.
Full details will be announced via Cunard’s official channels in the coming weeks.
