The Carnival Pride set sail from Baltimore over the weekend to kick off a Carnival Journeys cruise to Panama and the Southern Caribbean.
Having departed from Maryland on Jan. 11, the vessel is now offering a 14-night itinerary that includes visits to five destinations.
Highlights of the cruise include a visit to Colón, Panama, from which guests can take tours to the Panama Canal.
Other ports of call set to host the Carnival Pride include Puerto Limón in Costa Rica and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.
The itinerary also features a visit to Grand Turk, as well as a stop at Carnival’s private island destination of Celebration Key in Grand Bahama.
According to Carnival, the Journeys are special cruises that feature longer itineraries sailing to less-traveled routes and includes a series of enrichment activities onboard to create a “classic cruising feel” while sailing to unique destinations.
Among the special programming is a 1980s-themed “Throwback Sea Day,” which is said to feature retro pool and deck games, old school dining options like Baked Alaska, a gala midnight buffet and more.
Guests can also learn more about shipboard life through question-and-answer sessions hosted by the ship’s captain, cruise director, hotel director and others.
Sailing from Baltimore on a year-round basis, the Carnival Pride offers a series of seven- to ten-night cruises to Bermuda, the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
In 2026, the 2,100-passenger vessel is scheduled to offer three longer Journeys cruises that sail to either the Caribbean or Greenland.
In addition to its current sailing, the ship will embark on a second 14-night voyage to the Southern Caribbean in early November.
In mid-August, the Carnival Pride is also slated to operate a two-week Journeys cruise to Greenland and Canada. The itinerary features visits to Sydney, Corner Brook, Saint Anthony, Qaqortoq and Natortalik.
