The Arcadia kicked off P&O Cruises’ 2026 world voyage earlier this month after departing from Southampton on January 6, 2026.
As part of the “Epic World Explorer” itinerary, the vessel is now offering a 100-night cruise that will feature visits to almost 30 destinations across a wide range of countries.
According to P&O, the adults-only voyage is highlighted by a series of overnight calls in key ports, including Cape Town in South Africa, Sydney in Australia and Honolulu in Hawaii.
After departing from the United Kingdom, the cruise started with visits to two destinations in Portugal: Lisbon and Funchal.
The Arcadia also sailed to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canaries before arriving at the Cape Verde archipelago for stops in Mindelo and Praia.
Continuing the itinerary, the 2005-built ship sails to destinations in Africa, including Dakar in Senegal and Walvis Bay in Namibia, as well as Cape Town and Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
On its way to Australia and New Zealand, the world cruise is also set to visit ports in the Indian Ocean and the Vanilla Islands, such as Réunion and Mauritius.
Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Dunedin, Wellington, Napier, Auckland and Tauranga will be visited next.
The Arcadia then sails to the South Pacific islands of Suva and Lautoka before arriving in Hawaii and North America’s West Coast.
Following visits to Honolulu, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Manzanillo, the 1,968-passenger ship is set to transit the Panama Canal.
Heading back to Europe, the Arcadia is also scheduled to sail to other ports in the Caribbean and the Atlantic, such as Willemstad in Curaçao, Bridgetown in Barbados and Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
The 83,000-ton ship is then set to conclude the three-month-long itinerary at the port of Southampton on April 15, 2026.
Built by the Fincantieri shipyard in 2005, the Arcadia underwent a major refurbishment in late 2024, as part of a modernization effort that also included a refit for the Aurora.
