Cunard celebrated the departure of two simultaneous world cruises during a special ceremony in Southampton.
According to a press release, the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Anne sailed from the British port after a special firework display on January 11, 2026.
The two ships are now set to circumnavigate the globe for a combined 225 nights for itineraries that include visits to a wide range of ports.
Cunard said that the cruises offer guests an opportunity to explore “unique, bucket list-worthy destinations” while enjoying its White Star service.
After entering service in 2024, the Queen Anne will offer its second world cruise, sailing eastbound for visits to 30 ports of call.
The company said that the ship’s itinerary features destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas, as well as overnight stays in Cape Town, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Los Angeles.
“Guests can authentically immerse themselves in each destination while enjoying the comfort and luxury of their home onboard the Queen Anne,” Cunard added.
The Queen Mary 2 embarked on its first world voyage in two years, offering an itinerary that is said to be highlighted by historic milestones.
The 108-night, round-trip voyage will depart Southampton and sail west to the Americas before visiting Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe.
Nearly two weeks after departing Southampton, the Queen Mary 2 will make its first-ever transit through the Panama Canal.
Following what Cunard called a historic transit, the Queen Mary 2 will visit Long Beach to reunite with her namesake, the original Queen Mary, for the first time in 20 years.
After the royal rendezvous, the Queen Mary 2 will make her return to the Port of Los Angeles after 17 years with an overnight stay.
Cunard’s 2026 World Voyages feature a variety of expert speakers as part of the Cunard Insights program, the company said.
Onboard the Queen Anne, guests can hear from Solo Cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, The Crocodile Hunter Producer John Stainton, and U.S. World Champion Sprinter Tyree Washington, among others.
The Queen Mary 2 will also bring a lineup of speakers to its cruise, including Journalist and Counter-Terrorism Expert Margaret Gilmore, Former Pilot Jeff Skiles—who flew alongside Captain Sully during the Miracle on the Hudson—and Zelda La Grange, former private secretary to Nelson Mandela.
Cunard also highlighted its 2027 and 2028 world cruises, with 100+ night voyages planned onboard the Queen Victoria, the Queen Anne and the Queen Elizabeth.
The new itineraries sail from Southampton, with highlights including overnight calls in cities like Los Angeles, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Yokohama, Cape Town and more.
