The Celebrity Infinity resumed service for Celebrity Cruises after undergoing a scheduled drydock in Marseille, France.
As part of the project, the 2001-built vessel spent nine days at the Chantier Naval de Marseille for technical work and routine maintenance.
Completing 25 years of service in 2026, the Millennium-class vessel also underwent certification and survey work.
The Celebrity Infinity welcomed guests back on January 11, kicking off a cruise to the Canary Islands and Morocco.
Sailing roundtrip from Barcelona, the ten-night cruise features visits to five destinations. Among the ports of call set to be visited are Casablanca, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Cadiz and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Operating in Europe on a year-round basis since 2023, the Celebrity Infinity is set to reposition to the Greek Islands and the Eastern Mediterranean in early February.
After an open-jaw cruise to the Greek port of Piraeus, the 2,170-guest vessel kicks off a series of ten- and 11-night itineraries to Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.
For its first departure of the year in the region, the Infinity sails roundtrip from Piraeus starting on February 16.
The 11-night cruise features visits to seven destinations, such as Limassol, Antalya, Nafplion, Heraklion and Rhodes.
As the first Celebrity ship to undergo a drydock in 2026, the Infinity will be followed by the Solstice, which is slated for a major refurbishment.
The 2008-built vessel is set to enter drydock later this month to undergo a modernization project that will add new restaurants, enhanced entertainment and redesigned outdoor spaces.
As part of a $250 million initiative that will also see other Solstice-class ships entering drydock, the refit will also include the addition of new staterooms.
Cruise Industry News estimates that the Celebrity Solstice will return to service in March with 54 additional cabins and suites.
