Ambassador Cruise Line has teamed up with Boom Radio to launch “One More Dream”, a new project offering performers who hope for success a chance to claim the limelight at last.

The campaign is designed to resonate with Baby Boomer audiences and audiences on air, online and at sea.

Running from Monday, January 5 through to Sunday, April 5, 2026, the campaign will follow the search for a band, group or solo artist whose path to fame may have faltered the first time around.

Tina Finch, marketing director for Boom Radio, said: “We know our listeners love music, and many of them took to the stage early in life and dreamed of stardom, but a more sensible life got in the way.”

“But we’re always keen to stress it’s never too late. Partnering with Ambassador Cruise Line allows us to take this project to another level,” added Finch.

Gordon Nardini, chief marketing officer at Ambassador Cruise Line, said: “Boom Radio is a natural fit for Ambassador. ‘One More Dream’ is a heartfelt, uplifting project that taps into the stories and passions of the Boomer generation and offers a wonderful platform for a talented band to take their music further.”

“Supporting this comeback journey, both on land and at sea, gives us a unique opportunity to introduce our affordable quality no-fly cruises to an audience that we know will feel right at home with our famous warmest welcome at sea,” added Nardini.

Ambassador said in a press release that after the contest launches, entries will open on the Boom Radio website.

A shortlist of acts will be chosen by a panel comprising Boom’s DJs, including David Hamilton, Nicky Horne and Judi Spiers.

The winning band will be brought to London’s AIR Studios to lay down a professionally produced track.

They will then experience a headline performance aboard Ambassador’s Ambience later this year on the four-night “Discover Hamburg’s Festive Delights” itinerary, departing London Tilbury on December 6, 2026.

One Boom Radio listener will also win a cruise for two onboard the “Discover Hamburg’s Festive Delights” sailing in April 2026.

Further details on the partnership will be announced in due course.
