Oceania Cruises has unveiled reimagined and newly designed suite accommodations aboard the Oceania Sonata, the first ship in the Sonata Class, debuting in August 2027.

The company said the suites have been designed with the modern luxury traveler in mind, and that the Oceania Sonata will offer a greater variety and number of suites, with 33 percent of accommodations dedicated to suites.

“We have listened closely to the desires of our guests and are delighted to unveil the Oceania Sonata’s thoughtfully reimagined suite accommodations,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises.

“The Oceania Sonata is a triumph of spacious design and meticulous craftsmanship to deliver our unwavering commitment to extraordinary experiences and our unique brand of hospitality,” added Montague.

The company said in a press release that the four Owner’s Suites, sprawling more than 2,500 square feet, are on the aft corners of Decks 10 and 11, each offering 180-degree views.

In a first for Oceania, each Owner’s Suite features two appointed bedrooms.

The eight Vista Suites range from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet.

Terraced at the aft of the ship, the suites’ interiors feature plush furnishings and marble accents, complemented by generous living and dining areas. The master bathroom includes double vanities, a rainforest shower and a porcelain soaking tub.

The 16 Oceania Suites, ranging from 1,000 to more than 1,400 square feet, include private teak verandas, a king-size bed and a marble-clad bathroom.

The 50 Horizon Suites are positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories, and they offer over 600 square feet.

They offer guests distinct living and bedroom areas, a walk-through wardrobe room and an oversized veranda with lounging furniture.

The 63 Penthouse Suites and 82 new Penthouse Deluxe Suites, measuring 426 and 488 square feet, respectively, offer an oversized living area, panoramic views from floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and private verandas.

According to the company, all suites feature dedicated butlers. Owners’, Vista, Oceania and Horizon Suites also include in-suite illy coffee machines.

The Oceania Sonata’s inaugural season itineraries will be available for viewing on January 21, 2026, and open for sale on January 28, 2026.
