Viking has announced “The Viking Savings Event,” offering North American travelers new booking incentives across its range of destination-focused voyages.
From now through January 31, 2026, Viking is offering up to 35 percent off all-inclusive voyages, up to free international airfare and a $25 deposit for all itineraries, as well as additional savings for returning guests.
The event applies to select 2026-2028 river, ocean and expedition itineraries.
The company stated in a press release that its most popular itineraries include the following:
“Grand European Tour”
- 15 days from Amsterdam to Budapest
- Highlights include Rhine Valley vistas, the culinary delights of the Wachau Valley, the Viennese waltz, Melk’s Benedictine Abbey and Nuremberg’s World War II history.
“Rhine Getaway”
- Eight days from Amsterdam to Basel
- Highlights include the Rhine River, the Middle Rhine, Alsace and Kinderdijk.
“Romantic Danube”
- Eight days from Regensburg to Budapest
- Highlights include Salzburg, Göttweig Abbey, Wachau Valley, Vienna and Budapest’s thermal baths.
“Lyon & Provence”
- Eight days from Avignon to Lyon
- Highlights include the scenic Rhône River, the French countryside, Les Arènes d’Arles and the Pont du Gard, as well as the Gothic palace at Avignon’s Palace of the Popes and Lyon.
“Iconic Western Mediterranean”
- Eight days from Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia)
- Highlights include the Mediterranean coast with calls to Spain, Italy and France’s Riviera, as well as Catalonian and Tuscan art, architecture and history during overnights in Barcelona and Tuscany. Others include Sète, the Calanques National Park and Monte Carlo.
