Aman at Sea announced that the hull of Amangati celebrated a construction milestone after being towed to between shipyards in December.
According to a press release, the vessel was moved to the Port of Genoa following a week-long voyage from San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy.
The luxury yacht is now moored at the T. Mariotti shipyard, where it will undergo outfitting over the coming months.
As the first ship in Aman at Sea’s fleet, the Amangati was recently floated out and is scheduled for delivery in 2027, the company continued.
A joint venture between the Aman Group and Cruise Saudi, the company will begin taking reservations for Amangati’s inaugural sailing in the Mediterranean in early 2026.
Following its delivery, the 183-meter-long ship is set to offer itineraries in the region for the 2027 summer season.
According to Aman at Sea, the vessel’s name was chosen after the word for “peaceful motion” in Sanskrit.
The luxury vessel will feature 47 suites, each with a private balcony, as well as four dining concepts, a jazz club and the Aman Spa, which is highlighted by a Japanese garden.
As part of a project first announced in early 2023, the 23,000-ton vessel is currently under construction at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Italy.
At the time, the company said that the ship was to be positioned in the ultra-luxury resort-at-sea niche, occupying a space in the leisure market that has never before been explored.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the ship features an exterior profile and guest accommodations designed by SINOT Yacht Design.
After winning an outfitting order in 2023, De Wave Group is part of the team that is building the ship in Genoa.
