Royal Caribbean International’s Voyager of the Seas arrived in Brisbane earlier this month for its winter season in Australia.
Sailing from the port for the first time, the 1999-built vessel is now set to offer a series of three- to 20-night cruises to Queensland and the South Pacific.
According to Royal Caribbean, the deployment marks a “long-awaited return to Australia” and includes over 20 departures through mid-April.
“Our award-winning Voyager is an adventure-seeker’s dream and the perfect holiday match for the spirit of the Sunshine State,” said Gavin Smith, vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean.
“This season from Brisbane is one for the books with more weekend getaways and more island time than ever before across Queensland and South Pacific destinations, reinforcing the unforgettable memories that families can make on a Royal Caribbean holiday,” he added.
Before returning to Australia, the Voyager of the Seas offered a long repositioning cruise that sailed around Africa and the Indian Ocean.
The ship is now set to operate three- to seven-night cruises to destinations in Australia, such as Airlie Beach and Cairns, in addition to longer sailings to additional ports in the South Pacific.
The eight- to 12-night itineraries are highlighted by visits to Vanuatu, Mystery Islands, New Caledonia and more.
Upon completing its season in Australia, the Voyager is set to offer a repositioning cruise to the U.S. West Coast in mid-April.
Sailing from Brisbane, the 25-night transpacific voyage sails to French Polynesia and Hawaii before arriving in Seattle.
In addition to the Voyager of the Seas, Royal Caribbean is also operating the Anthem of the Seas in Australia during the 2025-26 season.
Sailing in the South Pacific for the first time, the 2015-built ship is currently offering a series of cruises departing from Sydney.
