PortMiami recently set a record after welcoming ten cruise ships and over 75,000 passengers in a single day.
According to a social media update, the milestone was reached on Sunday, November 30, 2025, with 75,201 guests travelling through Miami’s cruise terminals.
Seven cruise lines were sailing from Miami on that day, including Azamara, Carnival, Celebrity, MSC, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages.
The lineup included the Azamara Onward, the Carnival Celebration, the Carnival Horizon, the Carnival Sunrise, the Celebrity Beyond and the MSC Divina.
PortMiami also welcomed the Norwegian Aqua, the Independence of the Seas, the Symphony of the Seas and the Scarlet Lady.
The ships visited the port for turnaround operations in between four- to seven-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
The lineup beats the previous daily record, which was set on February 8, 2025, when the port welcomed ten ships and close to 68,000 passengers.
PortMiami recently celebrated a record in its annual passenger numbers after welcoming over 8.5 million guests during its 2025 fiscal year.
As the highest annual passenger count in the history of the seaport, the number represented a four percent increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
Serving as a major homeport for a wide range of cruise lines, Miami is welcoming new ships during the 2025-26 season.
The lineup includes Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, which is currently offering its first season in Florida and the Caribbean.
Other ships debuting in PortMiami for the season are Holland America’s Zuiderdam, Oceania’s Allura and Windstar’s new Star Seeker.
