The Legend of the Seas is scheduled to return to Fort Lauderdale for a second winter season in 2027-28, Royal Caribbean announced in a press release.

As part of the company’s seasonal deployment in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, the vessel is scheduled to arrive back in Port Everglades in November 2027.

The 5,610-guest ship is then set to offer a mix of six- and eight-night itineraries to the Southern and Western Caribbean.

Royal Caribbean said that the itineraries are highlighted by visits to destinations in the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Curaçao.

One of the ports being visited by the vessel is Cozumel, where guests will be able to visit the company’s new Royal Beach Club Cozumel.

After entering service in Europe in mid-2026, the third Icon-class ship will make its U.S. debut in Port Everglades in November 2026.

As part of its first winter season, the 250,800-ton vessel is scheduled to offer six- to eight-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

The itineraries are highlighted by visits to destinations in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean, such as Cabo Rojo, Aruba and Curaçao.

Most of the cruises will also feature a stop at Royal Caribbean’s private island destination of Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.

In late April 2027, the Legend of the Seas is scheduled to cross the Atlantic for a second summer season in the Western Mediterranean.

The LNG-powered ship will offer weeklong cruises to destinations in Spain, France, and Italy between May and October 2027.

According to Royal Caribbean, the Legend offers the most dining at sea with 28 distinct options for restaurants and eateries.

The ship’s onboard offerings are also highlighted by the largest waterpark at sea, as well as new entertainment headlined by Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
