Royal Caribbean International revealed additional itineraries for its 2027-28 season in the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

According to a press release, 13 cruise ships will sail in the region, including the new Legend of the Seas and the amplified Allure of the Seas.

The company’s itineraries will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral and Tampa in Florida, as well as New Orleans in Louisiana and San Juan in Puerto Rico.

Royal Caribbean is also returning to Latin America with departures from Cartagena in Colombia and Colón in Panama.

The new sailings are now available on Royal Caribbean’s website and can be booked by Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members ahead of the official opening, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025.

Passengers can choose from a series of three- to nine-night cruises to the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean, including visits to the brand’s Perfect Day at CocoCay private island destination.

The new itineraries will also allow guests to visit Royal Caribbean’s new beach clubs in Nassau and Cozumel and feature calls to Perfect Day Mexico.

Currently being developed, the new private destination is set to open in late 2027, with an exact opening date to be revealed in 2026.

Other highlights include visits to the new Port Samaná, which is one of the three ports of call in the Dominican Republic featured in Royal Caribbean’s 2027-28 lineup.

Year-Round Schedule

After undergoing a refurbishment in Europe earlier this year, the Allure of the Seas will offer six- and eight-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale starting in May 2027.

The Oasis-class ship then heads to Miami in November 2027 for seven-night sailings to the Western and Eastern Caribbean.

Also sailing from PortMiami, the Freedom of the Seas will offer four-, five-, seven- and nine-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas starting in April 2027.

The Adventure of the Seas offers similar itineraries from Port Canaveral, which are highlighted by visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau and Cozumel.

From Tampa, the Enchantment of the Seas is scheduled to offer five- and seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean beginning in April 2027. The ship then switches to four- and five-night cruises to Mexico for the 2027-28 season.

The Grandeur of the Seas will offer weeklong cruises to the Southern Caribbean from San Juan during the summer of 2027 before repositioning to Latin America.

During the 2027-28 winter, the Vision-class vessel offers weeklong cruises to the ABC islands departing from Colombia and Panamá.

Winter 2027-28

The deployment is also highlighted by the return of the Legend of the Seas to Fort Lauderdale for a second winter season starting in November 2027.

Offering short cruises to the Bahamas, the Oasis of the Seas is also scheduled to sail from Port Everglades during the 2027-28 winter.

A third ship, the Explorer of the Seas, will sail from Fort Lauderdale during the season for six- to eight-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean featuring visits to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and more.

The Independence of the Seas returns to Miami in November 2027 for four- to eight-night cruises to the Western and Eastern Caribbean that sail to destinations including St. Thomas, Grand Cayman and Nassau.

Two additional ships will sail to the Western Caribbean in 2027-28: the Brilliance of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas.

While the first offers seven-night cruises from Tampa, the second will operate six- to nine-night itineraries departing from New Orleans.

Taking over the itineraries to the Southern Caribbean that will be offered by the Grandeur during summer 2027, the Rhapsody of the Seas repositions to Puerto Rico in November 2027.

Summer 2027

The Jewel of the Seas is set to offer short cruises to the Bahamas departing from Port Everglades between April and November 2027.

The three- and four-night cruises are highlighted by visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, where guests will be able to visit the new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.

Royal Caribbean had previously announced year-round itineraries in the Caribbean for five other ships, including the 2025-built Star of the Seas.

The company also revealed plans to deploy the Icon of the Seas in Galveston starting in August of 2027.
