Riviera Travel has expanded its Grand Tour collection with the new Grand Tour, “A Taste of Italy & The Blue Danube Cruise.”
Introduced earlier this year, the Grand Tour collection aims to elevate the traditional touring experience, combining culturally inviting land journeys with ultra-premium river cruising.
The itineraries, including the brand’s newest voyage through one of the river cruise regions beginning in 2027, let travelers explore multiple countries and regions in a single curated itinerary.
“Travelers today want to experience the best of Europe without the hassle of planning multiple trips, and our Grand Tours create a smooth, seamless way to do just that,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel.
“Our newest Grand Tour itinerary will inspire our guests with southern Italy’s charm and the cultural treasures of the Blue Danube, helping them create two weeks of absolutely unforgettable memories,” added Milan.
The company said in a press release that the new 15-day itinerary begins with a land tour in southern Italy, where guests will explore the baroque beauty of Lecce, wander through the trulli houses of Alberobello and discover the ancient cave dwellings of Matera.
Travelers will stroll the streets of Bari and Otranto, enjoy a traditional lunch at a family-run masseria, and soak in the charm of Italy’s southern towns.
Riviera added that guests will also enjoy seven nights in four-star, hand-picked hotels, enjoying fully guided land experiences focusing on Italy’s culture, cuisine and history.
Travelers will board the Chaucer or MS Riviera Radiance for a seven-night cruise along the Blue Danube. The cruise includes an all-inclusive drinks package and guided excursions to Bratislava’s Old Town, Dürnstein’s Blue Tower, Melk Abbey, Vienna’s cultural treasures and Budapest’s Castle Hill.
Evenings onboard feature a classical quartet recital in Vienna and a Hungarian folklore show in Budapest.
