Marella Cruises has launched its fourth a la carte dining experience on the Marella Voyager, Umi Sushi, offering Japanese-inspired cuisine, available onboard from December 2025.

Umi Sushi, the 17th dining venue onboard the Marella Voyager, will feature freshly prepared ramen, customizable sushi boxes and Mochi Ice Cream bowls.

Luke Murphy, senior product development manager at Marella Cruises, said: “We wanted to bring something fresh and exciting for our customers onboard the Marella Voyager, and Japanese cuisine offers the perfect balance of flavor, artistry and variety.”

The company said in a press release that the pre-bookable bento dining experience is priced at £18.95 and includes:

 

Each meal also comes with a trio of bites: edamame, seaweed crackers and Asian pickles.

Marella added that customers can choose from a selection of Japanese-style ramen dishes, including Char Siu Pork Fillet, Golden Panko Chicken, and Miso Tofu.

To accompany the meal, they can select from a variety of ‘Otsumami’, Japanese small plates designed for sharing, such as Katsu Chicken Wings, Pork Gyoza, Crab Shumai and Steamed Bao Buns.

Also on offer will be freshly prepared sashimi, poke, and sushi dishes made at the counter.

Dessert options include a Chocolate and Miso Torte served with toasted sesame cream, a Strawberry and Lime Leaf Cheesecake and Mochi Ice Cream available in strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla flavors.

The 34-seat restaurant will be open from 06:30 p.m. to 09:00 p.m. every day.
