StarCruises has teamed up with the Malaysian restaurant group De. Wan 1958 to bring Malaysian culinary celebrity, Datuk Chef Wan, onboard the Star Voyager.
Chef Wan will join guests from Port Klang on the three-night cruise to Pulau Bintan and Singapore, sailing from January 30 to February 2, 2026.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Wan aboard the Star Voyager,” said Michael Goh, president at StarDream Cruises.
“His vibrant energy and passion for Malaysian cuisine bring a unique twist to our cruising experience. Guests are in for a colourful blend of great food, great company and great adventure,” added Goh.
The company said in a press release that during the cruise, Chef Wan will perform a live cooking demonstration. At The Lido, the ship’s inclusive dining venue, guests can savour an exclusive dinner buffet menu personally curated by Chef Wan, available only on this voyage.
The Lido features a dedicated section serving certified Halal cuisine on every Port Klang departure. During this dinner event, guests can also explore an array of Malaysian dishes and desserts.
The press release said that the collaboration will run for a limited time from December 19, 2025, to February 2, 2026.

Guests can choose from Interior rooms, Oceanview and Balcony staterooms, or the Palace Suites, offering private facilities and 24-hour butler service. Destination highlights include Singapore, Pulau Bintan and Phuket.
