Carnival Cruise Line’s new Grand Bahama destination, Celebration Key, has introduced its first set of holiday decorations and seasonal activities, the company said in a press release.

The private destination, which opened earlier this year, now features festive décor across its themed portals. Holiday trees, wreaths and garlands have been tailored to each area, including stacked oversized gift boxes at Paradise Plaza and a 20-foot Celebration Key–themed tree in Lokono Cove.

In keeping with the tropical setting, Celebration Key also showcases holiday sand sculptures, such as an eight-foot sand tree in Santa’s Village at Starfish Lagoon. Santa is scheduled to make appearances for family photo opportunities, and the Junkanoo parade costumes have been updated with holiday elements.

Carnival said guests visiting Celebration Key during the holiday season will also find themed activities, seasonal menus and related entertainment on board its ships, tying the destination’s decorations into the broader cruise experience.
