Nicko Cruises revealed the deployment for the Vasco da Gama in 2027, which will include a series of cruises in Northern Europe, Iceland and the Mediterranean.
According to a press release, the itineraries will be highlighted by visits to a selection of ports in the Baltic Sea, as well as various destinations in Scandinavia and Iceland.
Nicko added that most of the cruises will begin in Germany, allowing guests to embark on their cruises without a flight.
The new deployment was presented during a press conference led by Guido Laukamp, managing director of Nicko Cruises.
During the presentation, he highlighted a series of six- to 20-day cruises that sail to a wide range of destinations with planned stops in the Baltic, Iceland, the British Isles, Western Europe, Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal.
With itineraries departing from Hamburg and Kiel, ports of call set to be visited include Copenhagen, Riga, Klaipeda, Portsmouth, Grundarfjörður, Trondheim, Greenock and Invergordon.
According to Laukamp, the season is also highlighted by a musical-themed cruise, which will see live performances from renowned German artists during a Mediterranean itinerary.
Local singers and bands, including Thomas Anders, Vincent Gross, Sonia Liebing and voXXclub, are set to offer intimate shows onboard the Vasco da Gama during the sailing.
In addition to the musical cruise, the deployment also features a second cruise in the Mediterranean between late October and early November.
The cruise sails from Palma de Mallorca and features visits to destinations in Spain and Portugal, including Menorca, Ibiza, Alicante, Cartagena, Motril and Lisbon.
All the newly announced 2027 cruises are now open for booking on Nicko’s website and via travel agents.
In related news, the Vasco da Gama recently sailed from Germany for the third edition of its annual world voyage.
Following an adjusted itinerary, the 175-day cruise will feature a land segment in Saudi Arabia due to security concerns in the Red Sea.
