BC Cruise Services has announced that it received the Best Global Tour Operator 2025 award from MSC Cruises.
The tour operator for cruise ships, which is part of Alsa, said that the award recognizes its shore excursions offered to MSC passengers, who have rated the company’s shore experiences.
The awards ceremony was held onboard the World Europa, docked in the port of Barcelona.
Marialuisa Laccarino, VP of shore excursions at MSC Cruises, along with the captain and the hotel manager of the World Europa, presented the award to Mark Robinson, managing director of BC Cruise Services.
Laccarino said that “a truly remarkable experience continues ashore, and the excursions add depth, authenticity and emotion to the journey and help guests connect with local cultures and communities.”
According to the press release, Robinson thanked the award and highlighted that “it is a great encouragement for the entire BC Cruises Services team.”
“It motivates us to continue working in the future with even greater commitment and dedication to offer MSC Cruises guests memorable experiences on land as an essential part of their journey,” added Robinson.
The Shorexcellence Awards recognize the best contributions made by MSC shore excursion partners to the guest experience.
The Best Global Tour Operator award presented recognizes consistent customer satisfaction and the strength of the partnership, BC Cruises added.
BC Cruise Services has collaborated with MSC Cruises for more than 30 years, operating across Spain and Portugal.
In 2025, it managed more than 350 port calls and facilitated shore experiences for nearly 60,000 passengers.
