Royal Caribbean International is returning to Baltimore in 2027, the company revealed in a recent press release.

The Vision of the Seas will mark the brand’s return to the homeport in Maryland, offering five- to nine-night cruises to the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada and New England.

The 1996-built vessel will return to Baltimore for an extended summer season that begins in May 2027 following a program in San Juan.

The deployment from Maryland initially includes an alternating schedule of five-night cruises to Bermuda and nine-night cruises to the Bahamas and Bermuda.

While the shorter sailings feature overnight visits to the Royal Naval Dockyard, the longer itineraries add stops in Nassau and Bimini.

Starting in late August, the Vision of the Seas is scheduled to sail to Canada and New England as part of a series of nine-night itineraries.

Also sailing roundtrip from Baltimore, the cruises feature visits to a wide range of destinations in the region, such as Halifax, Saint John, Sydney, Portland and Boston.

According to Royal Caribbean’s website, the Vision of the Seas is scheduled to offer 21 departures from Baltimore between May 29, 2027, and October 16, 2027.

The sailings were first available to book Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members ahead of the official opening on November 13.

Royal Caribbean also highlighted features and venues of the Vision, which include the Vitality Spa, the adults-only Solarium and the Centrum atrium.

The company also said that the ship offers specialty restaurants such as Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and the Asian-inspired Izumi.

Guests will also enjoy special production shows in the vessel’s theater, including Broadway Rhythm & Rhyme and the Royal Caribbean original Boogie Wonderland.

In addition to announcing its return to Baltimore, Royal Caribbean provided more details of its 2027-28 plans, which include the debut of the Icon of the Seas in Texas.
