Aroya Cruises has announced a leadership transition, as Dr. Jorg Rudolph concludes his tenure as president, effective Thursday, November 13.

The company said in a statement that it has extended its appreciation to Rudolph for his dedication and pivotal role in launching Aroya Cruises and shaping the foundation of Saudi Arabia’s first domestic cruise line.

“Dr. Rudolph has played a key role in the early success of Aroya Cruises, helping bring the product to life,” said Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi.

“As we move into our next chapter, this transition represents a natural and positive evolution for Aroya Cruises. We are focused on accelerating growth, enhancing performance and continuing to deliver remarkably Arabian experiences that reflect the spirit and hospitality of Saudi Arabia,” added Clasen.

During the transition period, Clasen will assume the role of interim president, in addition to his current position, supported by the leadership teams to ensure continuity of operations and sustained progress.

The company said that as Aroya Cruises enters its next phase of growth, this transition marks a step toward driving commercial momentum and operational excellence and reinforces its vision and direction.

Aroya Cruises stated that it remains steadfast in its mission to redefine the cruise experience in the region through innovation, authenticity and exceptional guest journeys.

All guest operations, published itineraries and partner programs will continue as planned.
