HX Expeditions has put the spotlight on its 2027-28 season, which is offering voyages from Antarctica to Greenland, from Arctic Canada to Iceland, and from Patagonia to the Outer Hebrides.

“At HX, our strategy has always been about creating lasting connections with the places and people we visit,” said Gebhard Rainer, CEO of HX Expeditions.

“For our 2027-28 season, we’re not just adding new pins to our map; we’re going deeper: the ultimate in slow and mindful travel. Whether it’s exploring the untouched wilderness of Greenland with local Greenlandic chefs or designing community-led experiences with Inuit Elders in Arctic Canada, we’re focused on offering our guests the chance to see the world differently,” added Rainer.

According to the company, the 2027-28 season represents the next evolution of mindful travel, where guests can explore and actively engage with the destinations they visit.

HX said in a press release that guests will have the chance to explore destinations such as Alaska, Svalbard, the Northwest Passage, Norway, Iceland and Patagonia, while experiencing a wider range of activities and extended stays.

The company is also continuing its work in Arctic Canada, which is part of its Northwest Passage itinerary, and this year introduced new excursions co-designed with Inuit Elders and residents.

HX highlighted that this year, it launched the largest and most extensive kayaking and camping program in the industry, expanding capacity to allow more guests.

In 2027, HX is enhancing its Greenland itineraries with closer collaboration with Greenlandic locals, particularly in the culinary realm.

Following the hosting of Greenlandic chefs during the 2025-26 season, HX said it will expand its culinary offerings, allowing guests to dine on traditional Greenlandic dishes prepared by local chefs while learning about the region’s history and culture.

According to the press release, HX is also evolving its HX Explorers Loyalty Program, introducing a brand-new points system with four tiers of recognition: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Members can now earn points for every night they sail, onboard activities and select experiences at home.
