Holland America Line has showcased its 2027-28 South America and Antarctica cruise season, which allows guests to unpack once and visit up to six countries on a single itinerary.

From November 2027 through March 2028, the Zuiderdam and Oosterdam will take guests to South America and Antarctica.

The season’s itineraries range from 14 to 31 days, with embarkation options in Buenos Aires, Argentina; San Antonio (Santiago), Chile; and Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Florida.

The company said in a press release that the cruises feature nine scenic cruising opportunities, including a four-day Antarctic Experience and views of the Pío XI Glacier, Glacier Alley, the Beagle Channel and the Chilean Fjords.

Overland adventures will be on offer to bring guests up close to South America’s most iconic sites.

The journey to the “Lost City of the Incas” reveals Machu Picchu’s stone terraces, and the Galápagos Islands Overland Adventure offers encounters with a unique ecosystem.

The company added that from the ship, guests will try their luck at spotting penguin colonies and pink river dolphins.

On shore, excursion sites like Machalilla National Park, Torres del Paine and the Soberanía National Park canopy will offer opportunities to experience rare wildlife and landscapes.
